Your Invitation to Grow

Have a seat or log in. Take a load off. Exhale. Soak up the quiet comfort of a therapeutic relationship and decide to take the next step toward whatever it is that brought you here—healing from a past trauma, shaping your anxious energy into something helpful, envisioning your days without the weight of depression and irritability, spiritual development, searching your soul for connection to something greater, coping with stress from your job, restoring relationships, evicting those critical thoughts you keep thinking about yourself, tackling that “thing” that keeps holding you back. Or maybe you just need support during this season. Much like physical wellness, your emotional wellness isn’t a one-and-done kind of thing. It requires attention and intention. Professional counseling can help you make changes and deepen your compassion for yourself. I’m extremely grateful for my job as a therapist. Having experienced the benefits of therapy and healing relationships, it is my great privilege to bring this to others. I earnestly care for the people I serve and have a deep appreciation for the challenge of therapeutic work. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help people with mood disorders, anxiety, stress, etc. If your story includes trauma, you may opt for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help release trauma's grip. You set the pace and I'll walk alongside you and keep you moving forward. My background is in education and I completed a master’s degree in counseling in 2006. Since that time, I have been working as a therapist and therapist supervisor. I’m a real live person in addition to my work. I’m a mom, wife, person of faith, friend, cat owner who also loves dogs, and community member—dimensions I bring to our work together. And it's not all fluff--I love to laugh and find humor in things, even the hard things. Especially the hard things. Contact me with any questions you might have. My primary experience is in working with adults, though I work with children and adolescents on a case-by-case basis and offer free consultations to anyone looking to see if I might be a good fit. I'm paneled with Premera and various Regence plans. Talk to me about my sliding fee scale if you need it. Thanks for stopping by!
